Is there a length of service commitment?
Our service is provided on a month-to-month basis. Each month is prepaid in advance. No further commitment is required.
Is there any guarantee on the up and down speeds?
We guarantee that you will get the service you pay for, in accordance with the International, Internet Fair Usage Policy (FUP). This means your service will perform at your package speed when directly connected to the POE adapter. Testing on a device over WiFi adds additional variables that may indicate reduced speeds. Speeds will also vary based upon which remote server is selected as you are simply testing speed from your device to the remote server and some segments of the internet perform better than others.
If your connection downloads or uploads for a sustained amount of time such as during a video game or operating system download, it will temporarily reduce speed until the extended download completes. This is necessary to prevent network congestion. For this reason, we suggest starting any large downloads later in the evening so they may complete overnight. If you feel you are experiencing slow speeds, please contact us and we will be happy to help determine the issue.
What is included in the installation service/what does that entail?
Our technician will determine where to place your antenna to receive the best signal possible, then discuss the findings and ask about your preferences for installation of the cable and antenna.
What amounts will be due at the time of installation?
Upon completion, the installation price of $99 plus a prorated portion of the monthly package fee will be due. If, for example, you choose the Standard package and service is installed on the 18th day of the month, the prorated amount due for the rest of the current month will be $30.31. The total due would be $99 + $30.31 = $129.31. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Am Ex, and checks for payment. There may be additional amounts due if a router is purchased or interior networking is requested.
Is there specific hardware that we'd need to purchase beyond the wireless router we already have?
We provide the cable and antenna as part of your installation price. No further equipment is needed if your current router will support your service package and networking needs.
Is the installation required, or is it something I can do on my own?
To ensure that you get the best signal possible and that your connection is made, our technician will need to do the installation.
Is there a limit on the number of devices connected to the service?
No, but if you are experiencing slow speeds with too many devices, you may need to consider upgrading your package to a faster one.
Are static ip's available if needed?
Yes, for an additional $15/month.
What day of the month am I billed for service?
You will receive an Invoice, via email, on the 1st of each month, and payments are due by the 10th of each month.
